The forbidden love: Chocolate Shake

Good morning everyone!

Let’s start the day off good, this morning I have prepared one of my favorite shakes.

Ingredients you’ll need:

1 cup of almond milk or soy

1 tablespoon of raw rolled oats

5 raw almonds

1 medium banana

2 squares of your favorite 70% (or more) dark chocolate

1 tablespoon peanut butter (optional)

I had half a banana shown but later decided to add the other half. For those of you that are planning to workout or go to the gym I recommend this shake before a workout with the added peanut butter for protein.

Directions:

First I like to blend all the dry ingredients so the shake isn’t gritty. You don’t need a ninja, or nutribullet. I would say it’s useful and convenient, but if you don’t have one at home the blender works well.

Once that’s blended add the almond milk, banana, and peanut butter.
